EPCs

An EPC, or energy performance certificate, is a legal requirement when selling or renting any home in the UK. They indicate the basic energy efficacy of a building.

They are valid for 10 years, unless the fabric or services of the property are changed. For example if a new boiler or double glazing is installed, when the property is then put up for sale or let a new EPC will be required.

EPCs can only be instructed on existing properties that are over 10 years old, or that have had a previous EPC.

It is preferable to book an EPC with us at the same time as a floor plan if possible, to ensure accuracy.
